Run by Director Chris Carlaw along with his family, we strive to meet your needs whether that be a half house renovation, granny flat or a simple repair to increase the value of your home.
Our Story
The name ‘Carlaw’ is synonymous with plastering and the construction industry since the late 1970s in the Shellharbour and Illawarra district.
Kev Carlaw (Storky) ran a plastering business with Eddie King called ‘King and Carlaw’ in the 1980’s and 1990s running a crew of 15-20 at its peak, some of which are still working in the industry to this day.
Some of the major projects worked on include Hooker homes and Goulburn police barracks.
Phil Carlaw, Kev’s son over the years taught his sons Neil, David and Chris the major plastering skills and how to deal with builders and customers
Chris instills the dedication of the trade and the old school knowledge passed down from generations to the benefit of clients in the Illawarra.
